Strategies:
GAME DAY BUILDUP:
Every home game was promoted several times across the week through schedule graphics, fan invite posts, game day graphics, and various IG reels following current trends with additional game promotion included.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
Key elements of the brock hockey program were featured to promote the unique elements and successes of the program, including current player highlights, alumni milestones, facility quality, and staff shoutouts.
EVENT PROMOTION:
Team events and theme games were advertised through a combination of graphics, photos, and reels to appeal to a variety of viewers and reach the largest audience in the most efficient manner.
GAME DAY HIGHLIGHTS:
To raise hype for the games and increase fan engagement with the team, several posts were created throughout the day of a game to showcase the stories behind each game and the players involved.
PERSONAL TOUCH:
Adding a personal touch to the content allows all viewers to have a more meaningful connection to the team - fans will be more engaged, alumni can connect with the new players, and recruits will get an idea of the team culture. Filler posts were often made to showcase team personality and what goes on behind the scenes both on and off the ice.
